Jazz Quartally

Jazz Quartally is perhaps George West’s magnum opus! This exciting four-movement suite explores quartal melodies and harmonies:

1. Jazz Quartally: up-tempo jazz

2. Elegy: an atonal(!) ballad

3. Cadenza Interlude: a brief movement featuring the primary soloists from the other movements

4. 32⁴(9³+5²): up-tempo jazz

This work does require a mature band to perform, but the effort is worth it!
