Lazy River

"Lazy River" (also known as "Up A Lazy River") is a 1930 song by Hoagy Carmichael and Sidney Arodin. This new Chris Magee arrangement for brass quintet opens with tuba playing the tune in a slow New Orleans "second line" feel, leading to an up-tempo romp featuring trombone and trumpet solos (suggested written solos provided) leading to an exciting "out chorus" and slow "burlesque"-style ending. This is a great change of pace for your next concert!

Trumpet 1 range is to written high C# (C#6).
