Wayne Shorter’s “Footprints” is a modal blues that has become a staple of jazz programs for decades. This exciting Chris Magee arrangement features your woodwind section, as well as solos for tenor saxophone and piano. A powerful shout chorus follows a beautiful woodwind soli. You will need five strong woodwind doublers to play this, but it is well worth the effort!
